Fees and Insurance
Dr. Katzinger currently accepts Medicaid, Amerigroup, Cenpatico/Peach State/Ambetter, and Aetna. For those on other insurance plans, your insurance company may cover the cost of services through your out-of-network benefits. Under these circumstances, patients generally pay a percentage of the per session fee and insurance pays the rest. The percentage is determined by your insurance company. In the event that you choose to use insurance benefits, it is your responsibility to check with your insurance company to ensure coverage. When using out-of-network insurance benefits, it will be your responsibility to pay for services in full at the time of delivery; Dr. Katzinger will then provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. In addition, self-pay clients are welcomed.
Fees for clients depend upon services rendered. Individual therapy sessions are covered under the insurance plans listed. Therapy sessions and consultations for self-pay clients and those using out-of-network benefits are $180 for initial consultation (60 minutes) and $150 for a 45 minute therapy session. A sliding scale fee schedule is available on an as needed basis.
Group therapy sessions are also covered by the insurance companies listed above. For self-pay clients or those using out-of-network benefits, there is a $50 per client per session fee.
Assessments range in price depending on the nature of the problem and time involved.
